BiographyMy name is Aeron Attwooll, I am a recent graduate of Georgia College & State University with a B.A. in Geography with a minor in Environmental Science.
My education has focused on how humans interact with their environment. By studying climate, landforms, ecology, and Geographic Information Systems, I hope to create integrative and visual approaches to physical geography that are relatable to the human experience. During my time at GCSU, I was involved with the Gardening Club, and assisted in establishing a community garden on campus. In 2014, I participated in a study abroad program for Ecology on San Salvador Island in the Bahamas. I had the pleasure of returning to San Salvador in 2015 to present my research on octopus predation patterns at the Joint Natural History and Geology Conference. One of the greatest parts about living in Milledgeville has been the diverse agricultural community nearby. I have had the opportunity to learn about sustainability from an academic perspective, and from the intuitive wisdom of lifelong farmers. |
